First, I slept in and woke up to an empty house. I was a little puzzled but decided to go with the flow. The silence was eery.
Brandon and the children came home shortly after. Brandon made me a special lunch and then told me had to leave later.
Okie dokie.
The children all gave me cards and Brandon gave me one too.
Later he left and was home a little while later.
He asked me to come outside and I saw them.
Rocking chairs!
I looooooooooooove rocking on a porch. A "rocking chair front porch" was on my wish list. And I seriously danced in the yard when we pulled into the driveway on showing day and I realized that although they advertised this:
If you stood at the other end of the wrap around driveway you saw this:
Seriously... what were the sellers thinking?
Oh well, it helped us get the house!
And here is what the house looks like with rocking chairs.
I'd like some more decorations out there, but I haven't decided what I'd like yet. Maybe some "B" pillows and a little plant on the table. Or maybe a pillow that says "His" and another one that says "Hers?"
But even without the decorations, this little space is where I like to do this:

LOVE IT!! What a great porch, and rocking chairs are perfect! I think some pillows and a plant would be faaaaab. And I wish I could come sit and drink coffee with you!
